'Kypseli Market' is an original drawing of a purple chair at the market, in the meat section. It had a thick stack of paper used to wrap the meat on top. Styrofoam boxes, old coffee cups, empty water bottles and ciggie butts had been swept to the sides of the market. The floor had been hosed down and the artificial light inside the markets meant that multiple reflections and shadows were cast simultaneously.
This drawing is a part of 'Chairs in Athens' miniseries, within Twenty Two Drawings Series.
