Tony Sunshine Liquor

$70.00

Original Painting.
'Tony Liquor Sunshine' is a gouache study of two women crossing the road, walking past Tony Sunshine Liquor. One was dressed in flowing yellow and the other in orange - the official colours of Sunshine! I couldn't believe my luck! Plus, Tony's is a beautful Green-Screen / backdrop to watching the Street pass by. It's a busy thoroughfare to the trainstation and city centre, and the old frog-green shade of rollerdoor is very easy on the eye. This work is made as a part of a joint Art Residency, titled 'MARKET / PLACE', run by Olive Gilbert and myself in Sunshine Art Space, via Brimbank City Council. This residency is process-based, and will run for 6 weeks in total. This means it will continue running after it's launch on the 23rd February until the 6th March.
