'Skiathos, First Morning' is an original drawing that hones in on one the chairs I sat on to look down at a vegetable patch in Skiathos, Greece. The shadows were crisp and deep, I walked around the garden taking photos of anything and everything - a bee, a dog napping, a jar of honey, gourds in a tub, a stack of trashy magazines, my feet on the wet slate, the kittens in my room...
