Parking lot, at the deli

$70.00

Original Painting.
'Parking lot, at the deli' is a gouache study of some of the oldest, most sun-smooched signs I have ever seen, in the parking lot out the back of Sunshine Deli. Deciphering ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs may be easier than trying to work out what was once operating here. This work is made as a part of a joint Art Residency, titled 'MARKET / PLACE', run by Olive Gilbert and myself in Sunshine Art Space, via Brimbank City Council. This residency is process-based, and will run for 6 weeks in total. This means it will continue running after it's launch on the 23rd February until the 6th March.
