'Olive at the Market ' is a gouache study of Olive on a Site Visit around the City Centre of Sunshine, paying special attention to how fruit is packaged and presented [twine, string, tissue paper, paper plates covered in a plastic film and tied with a knot, butchers paper, cellophane etc.] This work is made as a part of a joint Art Residency, titled 'MARKET / PLACE', run by Olive Gilbert and myself in Sunshine Art Space, via Brimbank City Council. This residency is process-based, and will run for 6 weeks in total. This means it will continue running after it's launch on the 23rd February until the 6th March.
