'Bain-Marié is a gouache study of a full bain-marié at 'Selina Hot Bread and Cakes', which is our second option for Banh Mi luncheons. There were so many meaty morsels in the bainmarie. They sell big tubs [like, really big tubs] of pork crackling, for example. This work is made as a part of a joint Art Residency, titled 'MARKET / PLACE', run by Olive Gilbert and myself in Sunshine Art Space, via Brimbank City Council. This residency is process-based, and will run for 6 weeks in total. This means it will continue running after it's launch on the 23rd February until the 6th March.
